Okay, that's not true. Xandra runs it. I just show up occassionally to offer pithy comments. Except neither of us have been doing our jobs much lately, as far as this blog is concerned. Xandra is neck-deep in law school work. I'm trying to sell my house. Still.

More pressing business. Did you know that it's November 18th? No, I'm serious! I'll wait if you want to check a calendar or hover your mouse over the little clock in the lower left corner of the screen.

Before you pop a blood vessel thinking on the significance of November 18th (let's see, 14 days after Barack Obama was elected, Owen Wilson's 40th birthday, 43 days left to make good on New Year's resolutions, all of that Christmas shopping, 322 days since the beginning of the year, no wait, seriously? 322? My god, what have I done with the last 322 days?) ... yes, we're a bit late for that.

November 18th marks two years since Xandra and I began dating. Here's a quick photographic journey through these last two years.

Here we are at Enchanted Rock. This might have been our first road trip together. Yes, it included Lunchables.

Here we are on our cruise with our fabulous server Bulent. Seriously, he was awesome. If he tried to get a job in Nashville,

he would be run out of town by an angry mob carrying torches and pitchforks because he actually pays attention to his guests' needs and cares for the quality of their experience, and we all know that people fear what they do not understand.

This is the 1,300-pound pumpkin we found on Bainbridge Island while visiting Seattle. It took 20 people and two pickup trucks driving side-by-side and matching speeds, but we were able to get it down to the docks where a crane placed the pumpkin on a freighter. The ship then took the pumpkin to a remote beach in Ecuador where it waits for arrival in approximately 12 years. Why? Because we could.
