The Final Countdown

By the time you read this, one Ms. Ellen Alexandra Kleeman Gilliland, will have finished her last final exam. The only thing standing between her and graduation is time. Maybe that’s why Xandra found herself rocking out to Europe’s classic “The Final Countdown” last night.

If you don’t know why this song is awesome, then I invite you to detour through “Arrested Development”:

But where did the lighter fluid come from?

Xandra’s jubilation is perfectly understandable. Law school isn’t the only thing coming to an end, however. It won’t be long before Xandra and I pack up our things and head west to Seattle. We’ve had a frustrating time locating a suitable home in Seattle, but last weekend, we think we finally found it. Here’s a quick peek around the living room and kitchen.

This townhome is in Ballard, the neighborhood where we lived last summer. We love this area because there is so much to do within walking distance, and you still have easy access to public transportation and downtown Seattle. Our application is currently under review, and we should know our status soon!
